Well folks, after 4.5 years working at this 3 years degree I finally got the only mark I cared about this session (delayed a week and a half due to a lecturer's family crisis, too late for me to graduate next week so i have to wait till december) and I passed this bloody chem subject at long last.

Finally I'm a graduand, in December when I get the degree handed to me I'll be a graduate.

Massive, massive sigh of relief.

I cant say I know the feeling, I never really studied much....

My wife is studying part time, and we find ourselves celebrating 'most of the time' after exams and so on...
 
Congratulations mate! 😉

I just found out that I passed everything this semester as well so I know the feeling (though I'm sure finally finishing is quite a bit better).

So what are the future plans for Chundles, BSc?
 
Presumably, being a BSc (Chem), you now have all the knowledge necessary to make your own psychotropic cocktails. When's the party? 🙂
 
Thanks guys, I've got the registrar at uni on my case so I may yet get to walk the walk next Friday.

And there will be beer. Oh yes, there will be beer...

Oh and nice job bringing up the photo of Cheerio - the incredible 3 story beer bong. Can you believe that photo was taken in 2002? My second year at Uni, I was in a college then - moved out of the college in mid-2004, took 2nd semester 2004 and first semester 2005 off and it still took me another year after I got back.

My folks are coming down tonight to take me out to dinner, I have the sneaking suspicion there could be presents... 😀 (c'mon 5G iPod, you know you want to come home to Chundles)

I hope ya do get to walk on friday... but if you don't just think of it this way: you can have a party for passing the test AND for graduating in December. 🙂

I get to graduate on Friday!! 9:45am, will finish around 12pm to 12:30pm, should be three sheets in the wind by 1pm.

and this could just be it's late at night and I don't know what I'm reading anymore but "three sheets in the wind"? What's that mean? Is it Aussie slang that I don't know?
