Toolbar Icon Size in Safari

Does anyone know how to increase the size of the toolbar icons in Safari?

The Back, Forward, Home, Reload, etc., buttons are way too small.

I think they're all image files inside the applications package (right click and view contents to have a peek) so you could change them but as for the size I think the bar itself is a fixed size.

I wish I could make mine smaller but then I only have a 1024x768 display.
