I'm considering about buying an iPod,but I still have some questions:
1. about the battery,iPod uses Sony rechargable battery LIS1225APP, and it's said that this battery can only be recharged for about 500 times. So I wonder if I use it for a year, then I have to throw it away?!! It's quite expensive to replace a new battery, yes?
2. I am wondering that if an iPod can store windows common files, you know I want to buy a iPod for windows, and I want to use it as a portable harddisk, too.😕

Thank you for help.

With the battery charge lasting over 10 hours, most people don't have to charge their iPod every day.

However, if you charged your iPod almost every day, 500 charges would give somewhere between 1.5 and 2 years on the battery.

And I'm sure people will be offering inexpensive battery replacement services soon (if they haven't started already.)
