I'm having problems.

We can connect (ocasionally), and when we do get a game started it seems to disconnect/drop a player after ten or fifteen minutes.

My wife and I are playing mac/pc on a LAN.

Also. I used the same disk to install the game on both machines.

Could this be the problem?

Have you tried turning off the OSX firewall? (I spent ages at a LAN party updating, re-connecting, etc, eventually thinking it was OSX vs PC [of course, that's wrong, seeing as the OSX and PC versions are the same disk...], to then find out that I'd just left the firewall on)

My OSX firewall is off (all except the Network Time option) could that be it?

We can play - but after 10 or so min - one of us will automatically win.
Is there a time limit in the game?
Or a place to set victory conditions?

Um. Do you mean everything is unchecked in that little pain in firewire except Network Time? That means your firewall is still on, except traffic on the port the Network Time server works on is being let through. There is a button above that that says "Stop" or "Start". Make sure it says "Start" for your firewall to be off.

The button says 'start'

Everything in the pane is unchecked except 'Network Time'.

Why would the connection drop after 10 min?
or
Why does the game automatically assign victory (thus ending the game) to one player?

We are experiencing both these problems.
