Price of 15.2 Dell v. 17 PB

So I was curious. I priced out the Dell compared to the specs of the powerbook I ordered. I had to add quite a bit to the dell to make it equal to the PB (processor speed aside). Ram seemed the most expensive with dell constituting a $600+ upgrade to equal the 1 gig I ordered. So the powerbook is cheaper with a bigger screen and is thinner, lighter, cooler*, and it's not a PC and it runs Jaguar. Why would anyone by the inspiron 8500? Ignorance?

I'm waiting to see the 4150 widescreen update...this could be a decent PC laptop. The TiBook will never be beat by a laptop manufactuer...but this is a step in the right direction.
