(substitute a few of those "my"'s with "my dad's")

Nope not me.

There is only two lots of Apples I haven't had, the Quadras, and I never got a G5. Although I just bought a Pippin on eBay, so thats another to the collection.

My first Mac was the Performa 630, which was a crippled version of the same machine. I thought it was the dog's at the time, especially after upping the RAM from 8MB to a whopping 36MB.

I actually was looking to buy my first mac when the Performa 630's were out. I honestly always thought they were a bit of crappy machine (no offense) and held off getting anything new until I got a Bondi iMac and then a G4 tower a year or two after that.

Used my girlfriend's Gateway in the meantime after my Mac Classic no longer fit my needs. I'm ashamed of those times.

While the article does point out that the Quadra 630 was the last 680x0 desktop Mac to be introduced by Apple, it was not the last 680x0 desktop Mac to be sold by Apple. The Quadra 630 was discontinued about six months earlier than the Quadra 950.

Of course the last 680x0 system introduced by Apple was the PowerBook 190 in August of 1995 (and lasted until June of the next year... making them about 10 years old now).
