okay i just noticed this.

im hitting the shift key a number of times and after i do a certain amount of times... maybe 3 times a white arrow symbol pops up on the right side of my screen. it obviously has shadow effect on it. also if i hit the ctrl, fn, option and apple key other symbols show up. its accompanied by a type writer sound or something. anyways....ive never notieced this before. anyone else know what this crap is? im assuming it came from a recent software update but im not sure. whats this crap for anyways?

perhaps its always been there i just recently turned it on. who knows.

Check your Universal Access settings in System Prefs... I think it's "Show keys pressed on screen" under Sticky Keys.

I think it's for people who have a hard time pressing multiple keys at once... bad arthritis or missing fingers or something.
