Sell MDD for a Powerbook?

I'm really thinking about selling my Powermac G4 MDD and buy a Powerbook G4.

Powermac G4 MDD

Dual 1.25
1.25 GB ram
4 160 GB hard drives
2 superdrives
GeForce4 Ti 4600
and thats all i can think of right now.

And im looking to buy:

Powerbook G4 1.5-1.67Ghz
at least 1 GB ram
80 gb hard drive

Question is: IS it worth it? I used to use my mac allot for games and video. But not so much anymore. Will the powerbook have enough power? Or should I keep my MDD.

Question for powerbook users: PROS/ CONS?

Thanks !

ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 with 64MB of DDR SDRAM
80GB Ultra ATA/100; 5400 rpm

the powermac is definitely going to outperform a powerbook G4. But it's hardly night and day; if the powermac is fine for you, a powerbook G4 would be as well. But why do you want it? Need the portability?

yes thats the reason. Going to arizona for a week. And it would be nice to have for trips like that.

But I just hope power is not a BIG difference.

also I would upgrade ram on the powerbook 1GB +

you can find a better deal on the high-res PBs through ebay, CL, or even our marketplace here. unfortunately for PPC owners, prices have plummeted since intels came out. 1400 isn't an outrageous asking price for what you get, it's just that people aren't paying that much anymore.
