I am looking for a road bike, and had an idea to share some pics of your bikes . Also, has your bike been a good buy, etc.?

I'll start...I have had this bike for about 9 years, and have replaced almost everything but the frame over time. I would be happy to post specs, but don't want to totally bore everyone. I put about 100 miles a week on it, and it has been a great bike. Over the last few years, I have really been into road biking, and I am a bit limited with my mountain bike (20-40 mile rides) (even with the slicks), so I am starting the research for a good road bike.

I would highly recommend a cannondale mountain bike to anyone, I still love this bike after 9 years.

If anyone has a road bike they have been impressed with please pm me, I am open to any brands, but am looking at lightweight aluminum, or a titanium/carbon option.

I showed you mine, now let's see yours!

I've got a '98 Trek 930 hardtail...I've replaced the chainrings and most of the brake components but there's still lots of original hardware on it...I'm trying to find a pic as we speak.

I've just started to get into triathlons and picked up a new Masi Alare about six months ago. It's an entry-level road bike (I picked it up on a good deal for ~$700), but it's really served me quite well so far.

I'm too busy/lazy to take actual pics of my bike right now so I stole some similar pics online. First is my Klein, granted the bike pictured is not mine but mine is very similar with notable differences being the stem, wheels and seat post. Then my wifes new bike the Dolce, then our old bikes.

Nice Mullet, my buddy recently purchased one of those and loves it.

Jealous of the Bianchi. Sweet bike. Nice pics all, keep em coming.

Wildcowboy, have you been able to ride hard with no problems with the Masi. Looks like a nice bike.

I'm still a cycling n00b, but I feel like I've been pushing it decently hard...40-60 mile rides once a weekend plus an occasional shorter ride mid-week. We've got some good hills out here in the Bay Area and it's held up well under everything I've thrown at it so far. I haven't taken it up l'Alpe d'Huez or anything yet, but I'm happy with it, especially for the price.

I recently went to San Francisco on vacation (04), and San Diego (05). I am amazed at all of the bike lanes and general courtesy to bikers in California. Texas drivers are terrible when it comes to sharing the road. We do have many off road cement trails, but it is not the same for long rides.

And somehow we still have cyclists getting killed left and right...

Nothing too exotic, but certainly gets the job done.

Here is my Trek (with excellent Apple sticker placement, I might add...:p ).

I also have a Hoffman Condor, but the crank is in shambles right now so I haven't had it out for any pics.

And somewhat on the topic of "bikes," I'll be picking up a yz125 tomorrow evening :D I can't wait.

Definitely some nice ones in this thread!

Funnily enough I've just had my BMX stolen (DK Four Pack). My new bike is a little like this but with a different front end now:
