Is t safe to install this driver from Logitech? (it say from 10.2.8 to 10.4.6)

I want this driver for my Logitech mouse, but I fear it won't work and then I'll have a hell of a time getting rid of this. It already happened once when I installed something from Logitech.

It says until 10.4.6. Would it work?

Well it will *probably* work.

However you can use USB Overdrive which is what I use for my MX518 since the LCC seemed to make the MX518 not register any button clicks.

If I make this in another user account, would it affect the whole system? (i'm the administrator)

if you install the preference pane in your own users library then it would only effect your user not the entire system
