Shock and Horror!
I recently found this catalogue from way back in January 2002 lying at the bottom of a drawer. Shows how far we've come in 4 1/2 years and how much better (especially us Kiwis) have it in terms of Mac prices.
For reference, a brand new G5 Quad will set you back NZ$6799 incl GST today here in New Zealand from apple.co.nz, and a 60GB iPod is NZ$768. I notice, however, that the Quad only comes with twice the amount of RAM the Dual 800 Quicksilver did :P |

Ha, I love it.
It's always scary going back over catalogues like this. It's even scarier looking at the old receipts.

Good to see that the prices here in NZ have cooled off. Apparently our prices are high because the products first go through Australia, and they hike it up.
