AW, anyone have problems converting MS docs?

Everytime I try to convert a MS doc to AW or convert a AW to a MS doc, AW quits.

Does anyone else have this problem? How do I fix it?

I created a file in word 2000, saved it, opened it up in AW 6.2.2, added some text, then saved it again. Not once did it crash or anything like that.

What Mac are you running all this on, how much RAM and such??

I have a...

iMac 600mhz with 512 mb of ram. I did purchase the extra 256 ram from a reseller and not from Apple.

Should I re-load Apple Works? If so how should I delete the current version?
