New Macbook Processors???

Is there any news on new Macbook models hitting stores soon? I just purchased a Macbook in black a couple of weeks ago and I now notice that on the CompUSA website they have cut the prices on all their Apple notebooks? Since they never go on sale it makes me think they are trying to move them before new processors hit the shelf. Does anyone have any info so I can decide if I want to return the laptop so I can get the new one. 😕

The MacBook Pros should be updated fairly soon (I hope so, at least...), but not necessarily the Macbooks. Most believe they will be updated around November or so. You still will have a quality notebook, enjoy! 🙂

Apple is a secretive company there is never any NEWS on any new anything (until it is released), that is why this place is called MacRUMORS not MacNEWS. 😉

Merom was just released, and it will definitely be finding its way into the MBPs, it's only a question of when. It may even be as early as Paris. 😎

LOL. Even I m having difficulty in judging this as sarcasm or a real question.

Most would call it a scroll "WHEEL" 😀
some Mice have scroll "buttons" now 😱 wow what a giant leap for technology. 🙄

They have been known to encourage 3rd party retailers to clear stock however.
