Now and then when my PB is sleeping and I come back 5 min. later it has turned of... but I can't just press the power button to turn it on again. It's like it's sleeping but impossible to wake up again - The LED in front is also turned off.

It not about the battery as the PB is hooked up the power supply.

Can you help me towards a solution?

Someone I know had this on their PB15 1.67. In the end it took a logic board replacement to fix it. Try doing the PRAM reset as mad jew suggests, but if it doesn't help it's time to contact Apple.

My sisters PBG4 12" had a backlight problem where the backlight would turn off so it would look like the computer went to sleep. It got really bad. Eventually I took apart her computer and fixed it for you: the last person to take it apart (and it clearly had been taken apart) moved the lvds cable and it wasn't all the way in its socket. Additionally, the cable may have been getting pinched.
