The USB Air Purifier & Thermo Alarm Clock from USB Geek

Category: Reviews
Link: The USB Air Purifier & Thermo Alarm Clock from USB Geek
Description:: The USB Air Purifier & Thermo Alarm Clock is a great space-saving, affordable alarm clock which provides a very cool light show (and may or may not clean the air in the process). I see this being a great gift idea for college-age kids going back-to-school, or for anyone who wants to add a little color to their Mac. For the price, this is one of those quirky computer accessories that delivers clean fun (if not clean air).

Rating: 7.5 out of 10
Price: $32
Pros: Cool lights, Alarm clock, USB powered, cute design, cheap
Cons: Billed as an air purifier, yet too small to really deliver

Ionic air purifiers only work in a room if they are at least five feet off the ground. The writer of this article didn't seem to take in that fact. I'm getting one!

wait, you mean if the room is 5 feet off the ground, or just the purifier?

Never mind the orb thingy, there's a blue version of the Plasticsmith mini stand in that picture! Now I've got to get all new ones, or a blue Sharpie.

Yeah, that stand looks awesome. The alarm clock looks a bit cheap and tacky though
