Mpeg to .mov decoder?

I searched versiontracker and came up with three programs that do this. One is unavaliable for download currently, and the other I tried failed to close the file cprrectly. Anyone got any input on which ones are good?

I was hoping for a free answer, but if I resort to commercial software that will be on the top of my list.

you could try ffmpeg encoder..
there are lots of ffmpeg encoders, search for it on versiontracker.com
