I have a question which has been perplexing and aggravating. I know that on a Mac you cannot play DRM Windows Media Files, even with apps like Flip4Mac WMV player for QuickTime etc. Can I use Virtual PC, run Windows XP and Windows Media Player and play DRM protected video content? (I know, I know...everyone realizes what this is for.) Is it this "easy"...or will it still not work?

Well, technically yes, but very slowly. Virtual PC also only works on PowerPC Macs.

On an Intel Mac, obviously you could use Parallels (I believe) or Boot Camp to do it.

VPC - may work, although given how slow it is, I would worry that you would get skipping and poor quality with audio files (and I wouldn't even try video files - actually, I have tried wmv video files on VPC - it sucked....)

If you have an intel mac, parallels would work fine (I have watched non-DRM streamed wmv movie files, they play fine), as would bootcamp.

is it DRM 10 or 11? you could... maybe... look at this.....

It works but only as well as a very slow real PC.
