dvd to dmg

can anybody tell me step by step how to do this?
I want to make dmg from my call of duty 2 so I won't have to insert dvd anymore, thanks

He wanted step-by-step instructions 😉 I was thinking the same thing, but I'm on a Godless XP machine right now.

As to the OP:
Applications->Utilities->Disk Utility
Insert DVD
Choose DVD from source menu at left
Click on 'New Image'
Wait
Done.

thanks, the dgm seem to work, but for some reason it still asking for original cd

If you double-click on the .dmg to mount it, then run the program, does it still ask for the actual physical disk?
