http://www.macrumors.com/images/macrumorsthreadlogo.gif

Apple's iTunes Music Store has gone down and has been replaced with a black screen with the simple words:

Quote:
It's Showtime

The iTunes Store is being updated
Apple is widely expected to deliver an iTunes Movie service today at their media event.

Will we be able to watch this event live? How will coverage (if there will be any) be brought to us?

Not only is iTMS down... I just tried to get into my local Apple Store... and it was locked. Just has 'It's Showtime' in the window. Strange.

I was kind of hoping to download the Colbert Report this morning. But seeing the "It's Showtime" screen definitely made me happy. I can wait.

You'd have thought Apple could upload the new stuff to different servers then just switch them at the right time, are they trying to hype this up further!
