iTunes 7 is here!

-Source list now includes library with sep libraries for all forms of media.
-Store now has own section, devices have their own sections, playlists too.
-iTunes will give you cover art for free if you are missing cover art (thanks Steve).
-3 different views of iTunes, list view, album view (with art and tracks), then "cover flow view" lets you rapidly find what you want by album cover.
-Pod updater appears to be now integrated into iTunes
-TV shows are now encoded at 640x480 (h264), up from 320x240
- You can now sync between multiple computers using an iPod, as long as both are authorized on the same account.

How long does it usually take for new releases to be available? So it's been announced it will be available "today". So.... what's the average? Hours? Minutes?

Yes, I'm an impatient child.

I kinda like the layout, and the fact that it shows when I am playing the clean or Explicit version of a song!!

Its going through and analyzing all my music for gapless playback information. iTMS is still down. I do like the new look on the left of the window, its a lot cleaner.

The roll-out must be staggered because it's not showing up in Software Update for me.

Ooooo!!

I love this!! Love the new layout. Nice and tidy! Breaking up the library is good too!

I love software updates! It's like a present from Apple.

I love the ipod disk gauge on the bottom of the ipod window!

if you click on it , it toggles through 3 separate information readouts (2 shown).

The two new viewing options are great! It's looks fantastic and makes me glad I've been keeping my cover-art up-to-date!

Right well, enough farting about.... back to work.

Same error here, reboot fixed it. Funny, it told me I had to reboot on my laptop, but not on my desktop. Anxious to see it on the iMac when I get home.

I bet this is a preview of what Leopard is gonna look like.

I wonder if we'll see a new iPod updater, and FrontRow update soon.
