Better iPhoto/Photoshop intergration?

Would apple ever work with outside software makers to intergrate their iapps with commonly used apps like photoshop? Since apple doesn't have a pro image editing app.

umm there is a whole mess load of Adobe Photoshop products specifically designed for Apple 😉
