Viewing hidden folders/files in X

Is there anyway to view hidden files and folder in the finder and in save dialogs in OS X?

the terminal

Use the terminal

do a ls -a and it will expose all files ... if you like the terminal that is

hey evildead,

congrats on your 500...now you are a 6502 computer chip like me and a few others...how many posts to make it to a 601 powerpc chip? or how about a g4 chip?

i guess eyelikeart will chart those waters one day in the distant future
