the top button on my ipod has just quit on me, probably due to gunk under the wheel, i'm guessing. the wheel works all 360 degrees around but the top button just won't click. tried resetting with no results. any help would be greatly appreciated

iPod ipod mini menu button stopped working

If your iPod is set to automatically update then I guess a restore with the latest firmware might help. This is now done through iTunes 7 as opposed to the old iPod Software Updater.
