Boot Camp 1.1.1 Released
Just went to download Boot Camp for my iMac C2D and noticed the file size is about 10% smaller. Boot Camp 1.1.1 has been released and is only 186MB; IIRC the previous version was 202MB. From the website:

Good news
Do we have to reinstall Windows? Cause that would be a pain... "Support for built-in iSight cameras" I tought they were already supported cause mine worked with 1.1 |

Anyone try the express card with boot camp? I imagine that slot has a standard driver.

Wow, glad to hear that they are moving this along fast.
it keeps getting better and better. can't wait to get it running. wont be hurrying as most everything i need is mac. except some games. Would be nice to let Windows and Mac run at same time on same machine for later versions

Why not just go into the bootcamp pkg, mount the dmg, and pull the installer out to your bootcamp volume?

Yes someone please test this on the Mac Pro. I have two questions regarding the new BootCamp:
1. Is a slipstreamed XP disk w/SATA drivers still needed? 2. Can you install XP on a RAIDed Setup now? If anyone can test this, that would be awesome. My new Mac Pro is on the FedEx truck right now and it will be here tomorrow so I can test it but if anyone else already knows please post your results. |

Gonna give this a whirl in Vista RC1.
Cool that the installer shrank from 201MB to 186MB too. |

So...has anyone done a driver update in Windows yet? I remember 1.1 screwing over 1.0.2 and requiring a reinstallation of Windows.

EDIT. I re-read your first post. Bootcamp allows a Mac to run Windows. This latest update improves funtions. You're using a windows machine with Apple Hardware, so bootcamp has no purpose for you. The drivers are somewhat of a incompatability issue i guess.

For example, my USB-connected ExpressCard memory card reader works just fine in Windows through Boot Camp, no drivers needed, since it's a standard USB mass storage device.
