iPod Compilations appear in *both* Albums and Compilation Lists?

Is this new since version 7? My compilations now display in both the Compilations _and_ the Albums playlists. They used to only appear in the Compilations list.

The 'various' artists are still removed from the Artists playlist, just as they used to.

Anybody else finding this? Or do I have to go through the whole reset process?

Are these smart playlists that you have made? I don't think I have an album or compilations playlist... unless you're speaking of the browse window.
 
Silly me. I meant on my iPod. The default playlists (Artist, Album, Compilations) is what I'm referring to.
