Live365, the largest Internet radio network, today announced the release of Studio365-Live for the Mac, a powerful broadcasting tool for users running Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) or higher. The new software is a stand-alone application that allows Mac users to easily create an Internet radio station on the Live365 network, using existing MP3 files and playlists in iTunes. The software offers full integration with iTunes, drag-and-drop playlist management, and one-click microphone control. It also allows you to mix multiple input sources, manage broadcast information and display, and includes latency and encoder quality customization for users with modest systems.

Great news! I use Live365 on my PC now, and I'll be glad to know it work when I eventually can afford a 15" powerbook. 😀

They have a great selection of anime radio stations!

I've used the quick time streaming server, and that worked nicely, you just needed to get used to how it worked. I'll give this one try.
