According to Iomega, all it needs is a USB 1.1 connection to work with a Mac. Further clarification- they only guarantee that it will work with os9.x. With out the model number (a red flag) it is hard to say if it will work with OS X.

Its not for me. I have a superdrive.. its a friend who want a usb burner for her iMac.
