i think it'd be better w/ a touch screen instead of a remote, but thats just me.

here's that mac mini idea:

that is a damn nice idea, i like that alot. Would be difficult becuase im driving a 95 c280 benz, so there would be no spot to fit a screen like that becuase there is no nav system. i would have to do alot of modifications to the console.....Im planning on starting this project in about a year so i could get a cheap mini then, or mabye by then apple straight up media center, not the mactube.. something without wifi, just a hd and frontrow......i can only hope:rolleyes:

it would also be nice to be able to acess the radio through front row....

this all would be easier if they would just make the menus on an ipod viewable on another screen

I would LOVE to know how they do that

A guy I work with had a screen with buttons attatched right below his front mirror... he simply wired a small coax cable from the rear of his 4x4... unfortunately it was a windows PC at the back but you could do the same with a mini... :D

I have it hooked up through my stereo (no video) and it only supports up to N, and every new artist I add, it get's smaller...

been around for years.

and now has a mac section since the introduction of the first Mac Mini.

not too much software wise, but lots of useful hardware information
