Can someone please tell/teach me how a burn a dvd, i new to macs

if you mean a data DVD then you make a "new Burn Folder" then put whatever you want in it, the select the burn icon in the upper right-hand corner, oh yeah, and put a DVD in 😛 pretty simple eh?

It depends on what you want to put on the DVD, data, music, or video...

The Digital Video Forum is here. You'll see lots of threads in there which address how to burn video to DVD.
