what are all of apple's holdings and what do they produce? im looking for connect the dot issues and everything apple has purchased since the day steve jobs returned.

well, i know of one for sure and that's Emagic, creators of Logic Audio. Apple now owns them, although they are still operating under the name Emagic and not changing drastically, oh except for dropping all Windows versions! hahaha.

There was Prismo Graphics, from whom Apple snagged the new LiveType tech that just debuted in FCP 4. Apple also purchsed Nothing Real, the manufacturers of Shake. The company acquired Zayante, a company that developed FireWire technology. That's all I can remember off the top of my head. Try running a search for this in the forums. 🙂
