Any Idea to why my MBP 2.0 is running alot hotter then usual? For the last 2 weeks I noticed that its been using 50% CPU and using all 2.0 gigz when just browsing w/firefox. The temperature is a constant 79C and I'v been using a notebook pad which is aluminium and it just gets hotter and hotter as I browse. It just started to happen, the only thing I can think of is I'v been playing alot of videos stored in my hardrive.....and I need to clear the virtual memory? Ever since I got it untill now its been at a constant 50-55 C and runs at 1.5gig and uses like 15% CPU. 80C is really hot, even with a cooling pad.

You don't need to clear the Virtual Memory but if you want to, restarting will do this for you. Restarting might help in other ways. In the meantime, what processes are using up all this CPU speed (check Activity Monitor's All Processes)?
