ipod contacts help

Someone help me please. Everytime I sync up my pod the contacts are duplicated. I open up my contacts and there are 3 listings of every contact.
any ideas what is going on?

Have you dragged-and-dropped your contacts in there in the past? What you should do is empty your contacts folder (delete everything) and then sync again.

isync makes one file that contains all the information, so if you already had individual vcards in there, it wouldn't remove them/copy over them.

Yeah, I had the same problem. Easily fixed.

Just to expand in case you need more help, you have to have your iPod enabled as a harddrive, as you would have done before. So you're iPod appears as a Harddrive on your desktop.

Double click on the iPod icon on your desktop, then open the contacts folder and delete all the files in this folder.

Then iSync your iPod again, and problem should be solved.
