word 2004 help - with the header

so i've working on a lab and i want the header to look something like this:

title of lab last name page #

i want these on the edge of the margins.....basically i put in the title and then the "last name page #" but that lastname page # thing is always a tab off the margin...

any thing to get it to go there?

You can use the justify selections under the 'alignment' menu while in the header. You have to play around with alignment in header to get it to do exactly what you want. Like Madman, I'm not sure what you're looking for exactly.

EDIT: p.s. make sure your right margins aren't set off the print capabilities as well. I think .5" is the max for right margins (or least).

I created the following just by 'tabbing' after typing each part:
