iPod why don't all songs update on ipod?

Hello,


i have an itunes library of 8693 songs, 49 gigs...

i have a 60 gig ipod, that updates to have only 7813 songs, 44 gigs...

what could explain the descrepency?

i ran ituneslibrary updater and have no orphaned songs.... nearly all songs are checked.... what else could it be?

Make sure they're checked, and if you have Ogg or FLAC plugins, make sure the sogs aren't in either of those formats, or any other not supported by the iPod.
