Fix for iPod Battery?

I might have bought one... before apple released updater 1.2.6 which brought my sagging battery life to 11.5 hours, with little or no drain during days of inactivity. Maybe I'd go for it if my battery dies for good in a few years... but I imagine it will be a long time before I need a new battery, thanks to 1.2.6. (Thanks apple! 😀 )
