iPod How to Move Movie and Song Files...

From my iPod (60 gig) Library to my iMac iTunes Library. Man, I updated the iTunes on both units, but it's not letting me port stuff between the two. Sorry for being a nube, but I'd like to transfer and free up space on my iPod. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. -- I updated the iPod to the latest iTunes via my PC laptop. Is that mysterious bug a culprit?
 
ITunes only syncs files one way, Computer to iPod. It does not sync the other way. There are many 3rd party utilities that will let you pull files off your iPod, although I cant name any off the top of my head.
