Does anyone know if any US stores still offer an in house EDU discount on the iPods? I'm looking to get one for my mom for christmas but as I just paid full price for my nano, getting one at even a $20 discount would be helpful! Since apple no longer offers one, I was hoping there might be some other online retailer who did.

Anyone know of any?

For the brand new iPods, no. I doubt Apple would let other retailers give educational discounts on products that they don't even give discounts on.

Plus, who buys an iPod soley for educational use ;)

It's always the retailer's choice to give a discount on a product... yes, apple wants fixed prices, but for example macmall sells their ipods regularly for less than apple.

I'm not buying one for education use (what would I use it for) I'm buying it simply because I'm a student and thus get discounts on lots of things (like I just bought a new snowboard now while I get 30% off instead of in a year when I graduate and lose the discount.)
