Ed Bradley Dies of Leukemia
A "smooth and classy" reporter from "60 Minutes", Ed Bradley died this morning of Leukemia. He was 65.

I didn't know he was even sick, He was a good reporter, maybe one of the last great ones.

Duff-Man says....he was fab...he could do the serious investigative stuff well and then the next week be seen jamming with the Neville Brothers in New Orleans...great guy.....oh yeah!

He always demonstrated to me the power of folksyness. The ability to allow people to be honest just by talking to them.
And let's not overlook his influence on younger African-American television journalists for whom he was a mentor. |

Did anyone see 60 Minutes last night. The whole show as a great Ed Bradley tribute. Very good for something quickly thrown together.

I forgot to watch that. I hope it showed some of his famous stories and what stories won him the Emmy's.
