One of my dock icons is floating on the side of the screen

How do i get it back on the dock, or at least unstuck.

Other people here have had that happen. A reboot or a logout and back in should solve it...it's just a little bug that pops up pretty rarely.
 
DOCK BREAK!
*BEEERP! BEEERP! BEEERP!*
*WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!*

Try repairing permissions and restarting.
And, TAKE, HIM, DOWN!
Nobody escapes from Stalag Dock!
 
thanks, the logging in and out worked.

i was seriously worried i thought my finder app was trying to form some kind of mutiny against me because i was using it to find porn.

It was trying to be helpful...it was heading off to find more porn.

Glad you got him back in line though...you never know what that guy's going to do.
