Both panics are pretty much the same but the parts in bold i assume is talking about my ipod. I dont remember what i was doing when the first one happened but last night when it happened i had just disconnected my ipod from my machine (i did eject the ipod and made sure it was ok to disconnect) this has never happened before and ive had the machine for almost 2 years and im kinda freaking out, if anyone can give me some insight ill be real happy.

Is anything else plugged into the USB ports? Is your iPod otherwise behaving normally? :)

yeah the ipod is fine, and it was the only thing connected to the computer. the only thing that is weird is that occasionally once the ipod is disconnected itunes still thinks there is an ipod connected. i am probably gonna reformat the ipod or something.

Yeah, it's probably a good idea. While you're there, find some files named com.apple.iPod.plist and drag them to the Trash when iTunes is closed and the iPod is not plugged in. :)
