yeah, get the wii...

I enjoy the subtlety of it and you will definitely get your money's worth from wii sports, infinitely more entertaining than i was expecting.

Also, now that you know you can use freeloader to load imports, it should be a big greenlight!

I just dont think that zelda uses the wiimote as extensively as we all want it to having just gotten this system that has this awesome input capability...

but the times you use it feel fine to me.

Mario 64 for a fiver? £4 for Zelda 1?!
Zelda is £30 here, £14 for the GBA/NES Classic. I really can't wait to play these games for them prices I just hope they can be brought over to the Wii2 and so forth. Make my investment that much better.

This is what I suspected - heavy decision to be made.

Which do I cancel ? Wii pre-order or Zelda on the cube
I can honestly say that the controls are amazing. I'm 15 hours into the game and I can't imagine controlling TP Link any other way. It's much more intuitive and fun to control... the new moves you learn you actually get to perform by punching the nunchuck forward or whatnot. And it's also more challenging, and I don't mean like a steep learning curve, but it's more realistic to have to physically perform every step of a move than simply pressing one button.

For example, in Wind Waker, Link would perform a parry attack simply by pressing A at the correct time. But in Twilight Princess, you must first time Link's strafe around the enemy so that you roll, and then you have to swipe the Wiimote at the correct time to land the blow.

It may sound like a pain in the ass, but it's not... this new system is far more fun and engaging.
