DVD-RW and Powerbooks

I tried to put in a DVD-RW (Memorex) to burn it, but the disc wouldn't stay in the drive. It reads it for about 15 seconds then ejects it. It is a DVD-RW, Version 1.1, 4.7GB.

Anyone have DVD-RWs that work in their powerbooks or know why these wont?
