Hey guys,

I'm currently running a QuadCore G5 with 2.5gb of RAM and a nVidia 7800GT 256MB graphics card. But when I'm playing World of Warcraft in full screen on my 30" Apple Cinema Display, things become jerky and my FPS drops to about 15/16FPS.

I was wondering would an ATI X1900 be an decent upgrade ? would it improve my performance at all or would it just be an expensive side step ?

I'm not really up-to-date with all these fancy graphic's cards

Thanks for your help!

The X1900 released for the PCI-E G5 is "only" the GT one.
This X1900 GT card is quite similar to the 7800 GT card that came as a BTO (you made a good decision getting that card when you bought it  )

Take a look here for a comparison test.

thanks very much - i've been looking for a comparison like that for some time !

I guess I'll stick with my current card, and tweak the game settings a little - might even try unplugging my second display :)
