I am curious if someone is using my network connection because I notice I have to unplug my router every once and awhile and I only had to do this when I used to use p2p software.

...Or if you use an AirPort, you can use AirPort Management Utility to check for other MAC addresses. You may need to download it from here, as AirPort Management Tools. :)

It would probably be overkill for what you want, as a simple DHCP lookup would serfice, but if you did find people on your network you could downlaod ethereal to see what they are doing on your network.

A more entertaining thing to do is to run etherpeg, which brings up a window which shows any pictures that are going through your network (so you can see the ppictures form the webpages they are viewing in realtime)
