If I have a series of images that i want to apply the exact same things in the exact same order too...is theer any way to animate this.

I want photoshop to open a file. duplicate the layer. on the duplicated layer do filter>sketch>stamp with the smae settings. set layer opacity to 60 %. save image

yes

ya there is a way, its called Actions. In this pallet there will be the "new action" button, click that then name your action and hit record... which recording do the actions you want to multiply and when you are done click stop. Then try it out.

Between a rock and a midget
then after you make that action...go to file...automate...batch in Photoshop. At the top select the action you created, then select the folder you want to pull the images from and the folder you want them to save too. That will help.
