Security Update = Slow MacBook Pro

Since the last security update, my new C2D MacBook Pro is so slow to boot and get into os x, and everything is majorly slow just after i boot up, like opening up safari, any program, its just really slow, and take a good 5-10mins for it to become fast again.
 
Re-install the update using the download from Apple's site. My guess is that something with the Application Prebinding (the "optimizing" bit at the end of the update process) hasn't taken properly during the original installation.
