Hey guys,

I was just tootling around on the web on my PB with F@H in a console next to me, and noticed this:

[16:55:19] Finished a frame (356) Michael Shirts 2001
[17:06:48] Finished a frame (357) Vijay S Pande 2001
[17:18:18] Finished a frame (358)
[17:29:52] Finished a frame (359)

Who is Michael Shirts? Vijay S Pande?

I could probably figure it out with google or something, but I'm lazy today 🙂.

The Pande Group is basically the group that makes folding happen...there

so one would suppose that, that guy is the person...here

from 'about' page
"ensemble dynamics methodology, "STinker" MD code mods"

thanks,

why do you think they randomly apeared on those frame numbers?

None of the other computers I fold on are using the console so I don't know if they always appear or not...

ps. sorry if I was really lazy, and that was a silly question. I got a day off of work for the first time in 4 weeks, so I just checked my email and then soaked in the apartment hottub for a few hours 🙂

Here is where those names appear on my console...

[03:25:27] TINKER: Software Tools for Molecular Design
[03:25:27] Version 3.8 October 2000
[03:25:27] Copyright (c) Jay William Ponder 1990-2000
[03:25:27] portions Copyright (c) Michael Shirts 2001
[03:25:27] portions Copyright (c) Vijay S Pande 2001
[03:39:55] Finished a frame (244)
[03:52:03] Finished a frame (245)

(I restarted on frame 244...)

I am uncertain why they appeared on certain frame on your console...
