MX vs LX in OSX warning:thread is X heavy
What’s the general consensus on which mouse is better for desktop use with OSX? I know Logitech markets the MX as a desktop mouse and the LX as a Laptop mouse, but I’ve seen several postings that the LX makes a better desktop mouse then the MX in OSX. Why would this be so? Are too many of the MX features Windows only? Is the rechargeable battery the issue? I have big hands so the larger size of the MX might suit me better, but then again the LX looks to be a fair size itself. What about the side wheel on the MX, what can it be used for in OSX? Finally has Logitech improved the OSX software to a reasonable degree of usefulness? I’m looking to replace my BTMM, I gave it a fair shot for a few months but I’m just not that happy with the form factor. I much prefer the Logitech MX 1000 I have but its lost its ability to remain connected reliably.
