OK..my dad has replaced his aging pc with a shiny new dell. I know PC's suck. He needs it for his real estate apps. Anyway I installed music match 7.1 on the dell for his 20 gig ipod. Here is the problem....i can only update the ipod manually with the songs. Music Match will not automatically update the ipod. I made sure the all the proper options are checked. Music Match recognizes the ipod but as soon as it tries to sync...it says operation complete.
The thing is that the ipod worked flawlessy with the old pc. I am going to pull out my hair. Any help is appreciated.

I just got a new ipod, the CD with it came with music match 7.5, i needed to download a patch to get it to work with my ipod. Even then the program sucked. Many glitches.

I downloaded ephpod (for free), i find it is a lot better program and easier to use, and less buggy.

I am going to uninstall this piece of crap music match and install ephpod. Thanks for the tip!

I started on ephpod because I had a mac formated ipod, and changed it to PC. I recently decided to try MusicMatch.

I think I used it for less than an hour.

Ephpod is great. A little buggy here and there, but you can't beat it.
