Not really a goof. Everyone knows there's going to be an iLife '07, and Amazon didn't reveal packaging or any other significant detail (not even the price).

It's just their typical preorder option.

Agreed - no image, no ship date, no feature list...

Just becuase it is up on Amazon doesn't mean that is going to come out at MacWorld, it just means that it is coming out, they dont say when.

The only thing even useful in that website, is the tabbed section where they feature a mac chick of the month, and even the value added by the giant pair of yabbbos enshrined in a white halo of iPod headphones is questionable. (not because the big boobies aren't nice, but the women are not really to die for.)

"Useful"?

what exactly are you "using" that feature for?

iWork '07 and iLife '07 on Amazon

Amazon has posted placeholders for iLife '07 and iWork '07

The items are listed as "currently not available"

Amazon frequently posts placeholders for unreleased products and these do not necessarily correlate with actual released dates. For example, Amazon already has Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard listed as well.

if you look on the iLife '07 Amazon.com page is says that it will be released on Jan. 9, 2007... and that is the same day as Steve Jobs' Keynote speech at MacWorld Expo 2007

Ahh, now if only Amazon would post a placeholder where the Apple phone is supposed to go, just so we could all know for sure.

The difference is Apple already announced Leopard, and even gave a vague release date.
While we all assumed updates for iLife and iWork, Apple has made no mention of when a possible ship date would occur, of if there would even BE updates.

The only way this would be really news if they included a list of apps.

Wee..

Can't wait for GarageBand 4. I hope they add some extra automation features, only being able to automate panning and volume is a bit of a crap.

Pretty sure that confirms this WAS a screw up on Amazon's part.
why change it otherwise?

iLife 07 is a given. You don't need a crystal ball.

Any other unannounced products that may be listed on Amazon or anywhere else, or Apple store employees etc is purely rumour driven. Apple are not going to tell anyone until public announcement.
